1. FULL DAY TO RINGWOOD TOWN & COUNTRY EXPERIENCE & SALISBURY (Tuesday)
Our first visit of today is to the Ringwood Town & Country Experience: from smugglers to a full size railway station and train, from vintage cars and shops that you can actually enter, to the RAF display and real bouncing bomb, this is a real treat for all age groups. We then continue to the medieval city of Salisbury, known as 'The city in the countryside', with its magnificent cathedral bearing the tallest spire in Britain. In addition to its historic streets and alleyways, charming half-timbered buildings, and characterful shopping streets, today is market day in Salisbury. We return to our hotel via Salisbury Plain.
2. FULL DAY TO DORCHESTER & WEYMOUTH (Wednesday)
Our first visit is to Dorchester where Wednesday is market day, and the town comes alive. We continue to the classic and delightful Victorian resort of Weymouth with an impressive sweep of Georgian seafront buildings, pedestrianised shopping centre, splendid beaches, a busy harbour and many narrow shopping streets.
3. FULL DAY TO THE NEW FOREST: BURLEY, LYNDHURST & LYMINGTON
Our journey today takes us through the picturesque New Forest, calling first at Burley, one of the prettiest New Forest villages and home to the New Forest Cider Farm. We continue to Lyndhurst, the "Capital" of the New Forest since William the Conquerer established the area as a royal hunting ground in 1079. Our final visit of the day is to Lymington, a famous old market town and yachting centre of the Western Solent: take a stroll down by the Quay, have a drink, and gaze at the fabulous boats which visit.
