With the services of a blue badge guide, our journey today takes us to Pendle Hill Witch Country, in the Lancashire Pennines, an area lying between the north western edge of Bronte Country, the Ribble Valley, and the south western Yorkshire Dales.
2. Full day to The World of Glass Museum, St. Helens
A very interesting day, as we first pay a visit to nearby Churchtown village Botanical Garden, and then continue to The World of Glass Museum and visitor centre set in the heart of the Victorian glass and coal town of St. Helens. Here you can step back in time by crossing over the glass bridge which houses the internationally renowned Pilkington Glass collection, into the Victorian Cone building built in 1887, the year of Queen Victoria's Jubilee.
