Join us on an interesting tour which offers a fascinating insight into Britain's achievements during the Second World War. In 1991, Bletchley Park, the wartime home of Allied code breaking, was transformed into a museum devoted to the recognition and reconstruction of this crucial aspect of world history, which had remained completely secret until the early 1970's.

1. THE BLETCHLEY PARK EXPERIENCE
Today we uncover the secrets of Bletchley Park and discover how its code-breaking activities, and Churchill's 'Silent Geese', hastened the end of the Second World War by as much as two years according to most military experts. Seeing one of the Enigma Machines is undoubtedly a highlight of a busy day out at Bletchley Park, but there is much more to see than machines at this historic site. You can wander around the wartime huts, check out the tales of spies, visit the wartime mini cinema and view an outstanding Churchill collection. Between 1939 and 1945, the most advanced and creative forms of mathematical and technological knowledge were combined to master German communications. British cryptanalyst's changed the course of the Second World War and created the foundation for the modern computer. Churchill referred to the Bletchley staff as "The Geese that laid the golden eggs and never cackled".
2. BLENHEIM PALACE, PARK & GARDENS Our journey today takes us via Aylesbury and Bicester to Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Within the Palace you can see the State Rooms filled with examples of superb craftsmanship, and treasures collected over the last 300 years. The beauty and tranquillity of 'Capability' Brown's landscaped parkland, created in the 1760's, and the Formal Gardens created more recently, are unrivalled anywhere in Britain. Before we arrive at Blenheim Palace we will make a short stop at Bladon for the opportunity to visit the grave of Sir Winston Churchill, possibly the greatest ever British Prime Minister.
