Weston
Weston

Renowned for a fabulous sandy beach where the tide retreats for more than a mile, Weston Super Mare has been a magnet for holidaymakers for decades. It is a fun filled place that has flourished since the Victorian era, when it was nothing more than a quiet little fishing village.

Included excursions
1. Full day to Bath via Cheddar Gorge
Our journey today begins with a drive through the spectacular Cheddar Gorge en route to the beautiful city of Bath. It is an elegant compact city, full of wonderful sights such as the glorious Pulteney Bridge spanning the River Avon, the grand Georgian curve of the Royal Crescent, and the stunning contemporary design of the Thermae Bath Spa.
2. Full day to Glastonbury and Wells
Today we travel first to Glastonbury, where the ruined Abbey is the legendary burial place of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere, but the town is probably now more famous for its Music Festival than for its historical importance. We continue to the delightfully small city of Wells (more like a market town really) with its truly magnificent cathedral, and narrow cobbled streets with plenty of pubs and restaurants, and a quaint stream running alongside the main street.
