Renowned for a fabulous sandy beach where the tide retreats for more than a mile, Weston Super Mare has been a magnet for holidaymakers for decades. It is a fun filled place that has flourished since the Victorian era, when it was nothing more than a quiet little fishing village. Parts of the town still retain the charm and character of those long gone days, which have now given way to a lively, vibrant resort town with new shopping malls, amusement arcades, cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs. Away from the beach there is a whole host of activities on offer, including an aquarium, museums, art galleries, and pleasant gardens. The Midland Hotel in Weston-super-Mare is a family run hotel providing guests with comfortable accommodation, and friendly staff offering you a hospitable stay. The Hotel has a good location on Weston-super-Mare's sea front only a short walk from the town centre and Grand Pier. Many other attractions are also located within walking distance such as the Winter Gardens, Play House, Crazy Golf, Grove Park and Sovereign Shopping Centre. Our usual comfort stops and visits will be made en-route in each direction. On these five days breaks we will have a day at leisure to explore the delights of Weston-Super-Mare itself, with two full day excursions. Our first full day takes us to CHEDDAR GORGE and WELLS, one of the smallest cities with one of the finest cathedrals in England. Our second full day is to the beautiful city of BATH, an elegant city famous for its fascinating history, its beautiful Georgian architecture and its Roman remains.
